Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for prescribing and administering medications and treatments.
- The candidate must inoculate and vaccinate patients in order to prevent and treat diseases.
- The candidate will be responsible for advising patients about health care.
- The candidate must be the patient advocate.
- The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing primary patient care.
- The candidate will be responsible for providing acute care management.
- The candidate must provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a variety of health and lifestyle issues.
- The candidate must provide emergency care.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
- Candidate having experience is an asset.
- The candidate must be able to supervise 3 to 4 people.
- The candidate must hold College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP), be a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), and be licensed by provincial or territorial authorities.
- The candidate should be client focused.
- The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
- The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
- The candidate should be reliable.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
