Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for working with the Facilities Supervisor to carry out scheduled and preventive maintenance.
• The candidate must utilize the computerized maintenance management system to maintain equipment inventory and schedule maintenance.
• The candidate must conduct monthly maintenance and safety inspections and respond immediately to emergency situations as they arise.
• The candidate must assemble and install equipment such as drive motors, gearboxes, belts, gravity conveyors, platforms, and other material handling equipment.
• The candidate must complete daily inspection and cleanup of the building perimeter and grounds, including general repairs.
• The candidate must respond promptly to reports of equipment issues to minimize downtime and operational impact.
• The candidate must complete assigned technical training, personal development, and team-building exercises.

Job Requirements

• The candidate will be required to have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, mechanical trade, or general contracting.
• The candidate must be skilled in using power tools, ground maintenance equipment, electrical, masonry, plumbing, carpentry, paints, solvents, adhesives, and PIT equipment.
• The candidate must meet attendance requirements.
• The candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook and have basic computer skills.
• The candidate must maintain a safe work environment at all times.
• The candidate must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety guidelines, policies, training, and instructions.
