Job Description

  • The candidate must maintain professionalism in customer service.
  • The candidate will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing electrical control and panel boxes.
  • The candidate must keep maintenance reports and documentation.
  • The candidate must design and construct single-phase services for single or multimeter installations.
  • The candidate must splice, join, and connect wires.
  • The candidate must test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and circuit integrity.
  • The candidate must troubleshoot and isolate faults.
  • The candidate must install surface mount and/or overhead cables.
  • The candidate will be responsible for instructing apprentices.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising other workers.
  • The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
  • The candidate must carry out preventive maintenance programs.
  • The candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate or diploma in Other trades or equivalent experience in Electrical/electronics maintenance and repair technology, other.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have Electrician Trade Certification.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
  • The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
