Job Description

Candidates will have to lead projects or initiatives, and environmental assessments contribute to the management of species and their habitats.
Candidates are also appointed to participate in Parks Canada’s emergency response team and manage search and rescue tasks when required.
They’re also appointed to support the national park’s emergency response teams when required.
They are also appointed to analyze information from a variety of sources on issues related to the management or conservation of natural resources.
Candidates will have to provide information and advice to park managers.

Job requirement

Candidates must have experience in working with multiple stakeholders or partners to advance projects or initiatives.
Candidates must attain knowledge of the theories and principles of ecosystems and functions.
Candidates must attain the ability to provide science-based advice to support decision-making.
Candidates must attain the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Candidates must attain experience in developing and maintaining work relationships with indigenous organizations.
