Job Description

The candidate must respond to customer complaints or concerns.

Job Requirements

The candidate must have an AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Certification, Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) Certificate, Driver’s License (Class 1 or A), and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.

Documentation knowledge

The candidate must be knowledgeable about accident or incident reports, bill of lading, dangerous goods occurrence reports, driver logbooks, inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip), maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports.

Type of trucking and equipment

The candidate must have experience in operating flatbeds, straight trucks (4,600 kg/10,000 lbs+ with 3+ axles), and tractor-trailers.

Communication systems experience

The candidate must have experience operating GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment, as well as using a trip recorder (on-board computer).

Transportation/travel experience

The candidate must have transportation and travel experience at local, national, provincial/territorial, and regional levels.
The candidate must have short-haul travel experience.
