Job description

  • The candidate will be required to transport dangerous goods.
  • The candidate will be required to handle dangerous goods.

  • The candidate will be required to receive information from central dispatch.
  • The candidate will be required to relay information to central dispatch.
  • The candidate will be required to manage tarping.
  • The candidate will be required to inspect tires.
  • The candidate will be required to inspect lights.
  • The candidate will be required to inspect brakes.
  • The candidate will be required to inspect cold storage and other equipment.
  • The candidate will be required to record cargo information.
  • The candidate will be required to perform pre-trip inspection.
  • The candidate will be required to perform en route inspection.
  • The candidate will be required to post-trip inspection.
  • The candidate will be required to oversee all aspects of vehicle.
  • The candidate will be required to address customers’ complaints or concerns.
  • The candidate will be required to have owner-operator business skills.
  • The candidate will be required to coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques.
  • The candidate will be required to have professionalism in customer service.

Requirements

  • The candidate should have minimum or no degree, certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
  • The candidate should not have any experience in the concerned field.
  • The candidate should have Professional Driver Improvement Certificate.
  • The candidate should have Driver’s License (Class 1 or A).
  • The candidate should have driver’s validity license check.
  • The candidate should also have Valid driver’s license.
  • The candidate should also be able to drive manual transmission vehicle.
  • The candidate should also be able to manage large workload.
  • The candidate should also be able to do repetitive tasks.
  • The candidate should also be able to pay attention to detail.
  • The candidate should also be comfortable sitting for longer period.
  • The candidate should also be able to manage heavy loads.
  • The work will be physically demanding and hence the candidate should be comfortable with it.
  • The candidate should show flexibility.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
