Job Description
- The candidate must inspect the vehicle’s condition, including the brakes, tires, lights, and other essential components.
- The candidate must perform brake adjustments.
- The candidate must be able to perform emergency roadside repairs.
- The candidate will be responsible for performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as overseeing all vehicle aspects.
- The candidate will be responsible for receiving and relaying information to central dispatch.
- The candidate will be responsible for recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must have an Air Brakes Endorsement Certification and a Driver’s License (Class 1 or A).
- The candidate should be organized and flexible.
- The candidate should be reliable.

- The candidate must have experience using Citizens Band (CB) radios and operating GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment.

- The candidate must have travel experience in the local area.
