Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for compiling orders and instructions received from customers.
  • The candidate will be responsible for planning and organizing the organization’s operational logistics.
  • The candidate must revise the type and quantity of materials required for production, construction, and other projects.
  • The candidate will be responsible for tracking and completing work orders.
  • The candidate must perform routine clerical duties.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining work records and logs.
  • The candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities between the warehouse and production units.
  • The candidate must coordinate the traffic flow of supplies.
  • The candidate will be responsible for compiling worksheets and order specifications.
  • The candidate must consult with the production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost-effective and timely manner.
  • The candidate must be knowledgeable about project management.
  • The candidate will be responsible for keeping track of shipments.
  • The candidate must be knowledgeable about highway trucking and the associated rules and regulations.
  • The candidate must maintain vehicle operator work records.
  • The candidate will be responsible for scheduling assignments and coordinating the activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining inventory.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Work setting

  • The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy and busy environment with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, as well as many forklift truck drivers moving pallets between shelves.
