Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities
  • The candidate should be able to schedule and confirm appointments.
  • The candidate will be required to clean and maintain equipment
  • The candidate will be expected to perform a variety of administrative tasks.
  • The candidate will be required to keep track of the patient’s rehabilitation progress.
  • The candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients during sessions.
  • When necessary, the candidate will be expected to guide patients through exercises.
  • The candidate will be required to brief patients and their families on after-therapy care.
  • The candidate will be expected to work with other members of the rehabilitation team to plan and implement activities and programmes that are tailored to the patient’s specific needs.
  • The candidate will be expected to keep up-to-date records on all of the patients they serve.
  • The candidate will be responsible for providing patient care and encouraging patients to complete specific treatment plans related to injury, illness or disability-related physical issues.
  • The candidate will be in charge of returning equipment to its proper storage areas.
  • The candidate will be expected to administer physiotherapist-designed treatment plans.
  • The candidate will be required to propose treatment goals and objectives
  • The candidate will be in charge of Patients should be educated on physiotherapy techniques, modalities, and home exercise programmes.
  • The candidate will be required to work under the direction and guidance of the
    Physiotherapist to support the provision of Physiotherapy Services.
  • The candidate will be required to observe the patient’s general behaviour, ability, and response to a therapeutic intervention and report the findings to the Physiotherapist.
  • The candidate must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of a patient’s needs in order to involve and motivate the patient in the physiotherapeutic process.
  • The candidate will be required to identify potential hazards and emergency situations and follows local procedures to manage those situations appropriately
  • The candidate will be responsible for keeping treatment areas and equipment in order, cleanliness, and tidiness in accordance with local departmental guidelines.
  • As defined by local departmental policies and procedures, the candidate will be responsible for performing departmental stock management, ordering and receiving supplies, monitoring equipment, and reporting broken equipment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for completing training and continuing education in order to build the personal skills needed to improve patient care
