Job Description 

  • Candidates working in this post are required to lead and facilitate connections between Indigenous communities, delivery partners and the service systems.
  • They’re also appointed to this post to manage the strategic planning process and collective impact framework to ensure the elements are inclusive, culturally relevant and engaging.
  • Candidates are also required at this post to create and lead key policies and processes to advance community development efforts. 
  • They’re appointed at this post to foster a culture of collaboration, trust and shared purpose to build and support collective community engagement. 
  • Candidates for this post will have to actively engage directly with internal and external stakeholders to communicate progress, success and challenges to facilitate system change.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must have post-secondary education in relevant fields or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience to be eligible for this post. 
  • Candidates must have demonstrated cultural competency, a belief in diversity as a community strength and the ability to work with diverse communities.
  • They must have a prior understanding of community engagement practices and community development principles to be eligible for this post. 
  • Candidates must have prior ability in servicing the needs of the Indigenous community to build trust and facilitate relations.
  • They must acquire the ability to organize and coordinate work efficiently to be eligible for this post. 

Work setting 

  • They must have dedicated experience in respectful engagement practices that will meet the needs of Indigenous communities, and advance relations to be eligible for this post.
