Job Description
- The candidate will be expected to create, administer, and supervise nutrition, food preparation, and service programmes.
- The candidate will be expected to assess individuals’ nutritional status and to provide nutrition advice and consultation to health professionals, individuals, dietetic interns, community groups, government, and the media.
- The candidate will be expected to plan, evaluate, and carry out nutrition education programmes, as well as create educational materials for a variety of audiences.
- The candidate will be expected to analyse current scientific nutritional studies, conduct research, and evaluate programme effectiveness in order to improve the nutritional value, taste, appearance, and preparation of food.
- The candidate will be expected to assist in the prevention and/or treatment of malnutrition.
- The candidate will be expected to determine patients’ nutritional needs and plan, implement, and evaluate normal and therapeutic menus in order to maintain and improve overall health.
