Job Description

  • The investment and wealth strategy and advisory area of a developing high net worth client service position.
  • This role requires a minimum of 37.5 hours per week (full time) Monday to Friday, with the potential for additional hours on weekends as necessary.
  • The primary focus of this position is to create and expand a client base through developing lasting relationships through relationship engagement.
  • Through the structured development program, you will receive coaching, development and business support.
  • Supporting personalized investment planning and portfolio discussions with our high net worth clients is the key responsibility of this job.
  • You will work within a collaborative team environment, have access to extensive resources to support your development and have opportunities to grow professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand a client base that includes high-net-worth, ultra-high-net-worth, and business owner clients.
  • Design wealth management and investment strategy that is comprehensive for clients.
  • Make recommendations for constructing portfolios, selecting securities, monitoring portfolios, and rebalancing portfolios.
  • Create market share through prospecting, marketing, and developing relationships.
  • Create and use sales strategies that will generate interest in, acquire, and retain both clients and referrals.
  • Work collaboratively with other TD partners to provide a complete wealth management experience with a focus on achieving clients’ overall goals.
  • Identify and manage risks for the purpose of protecting the interest of TD Bank and all of its stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Graduation with undergrad qualifications within any one of the following areas: Finance, Business, Economics or related subjects.
  • Registered Representative Certification with CIRO.
  • Minimum three years client-facing, sales related and/or relationship-driven position experience.
  • Strong Investment Products knowledge, Investment Markets knowledge and Portfolio Management knowledge.
  • Possesses or will obtain Life Insurance License (LLQP) shortly after employment.
