Job Description

  • This is a design-oriented position in men’s performance knitwear, specifically seamless and engineered knitwear.
  • You will partner with every functional piece, (design, materials, technical, developments) to make your brake product come to life.
  • You will be using 3D tools, prototyping, and fittings to develop shape fit& structure.
  • You work on selecting raw materials and technical developments to produce yarns and performance fabrics.
  • You will design from concept through the final execution of the product getting your mark on every piece.
  • You will blend performance and aesthetic whilst maintaining functionality in knitwear.
  • You will have a premium design mindset, always ensuring your seamless and engineered knits exceed the guests expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Research trends
  • Adapt new ideas that fit with branding.
  • Develop sketches regularly
  • Develop 3D mockups, and prototypes for dialogue.
  • Choose appropriate fabrics and trims for each style.
  • Apply colours and graphics with commercial and technical viability.
  • Present designs and discuss inspiration to cross-departmental partners.
  • Provide accurate technical sketches and partner with developers.
  • Fit, review and execute recommended revisions in prototype development.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience designing products and a related design degree.
  • Proficient in

° Adobe Illustrator,
° Photoshop, and
° InDesign.

  • Good verbal and visual communication skills.
  • Strong sense of aesthetics that reflect the brand style and guest expectations.
  • A new way of thinking, with the ability to develop new ideas in design.
  • Awareness of global trends and the ability to interpret global trends into designs that fit the brand.
