Job Description
- Candidates are appointed to develop processes to enrich Geotab’s big data with telematics data at scale.
- They’re also appointed to develop processes and implement logging, monitoring, and alerting services to ensure the health of Geotab’s big data infrastructure.
- Candidates are required to work with data scientists to understand data processing needs and develop infrastructure solutions to support these initiatives.
- They’re also appointed to create and maintain documentation for architecture, requirements, and process flows.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a dedicated bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering.
- They must attain 3-5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering or a similar role.
- Candidate must attain relevant experience in developing production-level systems using C#.
- Candidates must have practical experience with API design and implementation.
Work setting
- They must attain dedicated experience in designing, building and maintaining production-level application containerization, such as Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift.
