Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are required to create and edit data models for users to answer business questions and optimize queries and reports for performance.
- Applicants for this post are also required to decouple analytics logic from BI dashboards and create unified data models using data that can be used to answer specific business questions.
- Applicants for this post are required to maintain and evolve existing reporting and dashboards and respond to incoming data requests working at this post.
- Candidates are also appointed to this post for effectively communicating findings and feedback to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- They’re appointed at this post to work with the Business Intelligence Manager to govern our BI environment to empower our self-serve stakeholders leveraging data and dashboards.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant quantitative discipline to be eligible for this post.
- They must have completed 3+ years of applied experience in business intelligence and/or data modelling.
- Candidates must have proficiency in database modelling, SQL, and data warehousing principles to be preferred for this post.
- Candidates for this post must have proficiency in understanding business requirements and translating them to data sets in a data warehouse.
- Applicants for this post must have dedicated experience with version control concepts and tools to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates for this post must have prior experience in building data models and sets to be consumed for reporting and analytics using data.
Work setting
- Candidates for this post must have experience working with Redshift or other cloud data warehouses.
- Candidates for this post must be experts of translating technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Candidates for this post must have prior experience with one or several cloud-based business intelligence tools, incl. Tableau, PowerBI, and Looker.
