Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for calving.
• The candidate must be able to handle animals.
• The candidate will be responsible for animal health monitoring.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must feed and care for animals.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must milk cows.
• The candidate must clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
• The candidate must be able to recognise and treat certain livestock health issues.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Candidate having experience is an asset.
• The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.

• The type of farm operation is livestock farming.

• The candidate must be willing to work in a rural area.

Experience and specialization

Equipment and machinery experience

• The candidate must have prior experience operating forage equipment, haying equipment, a loader, a manure spreader, and a tractor.

Automated systems experience

• The candidate must have prior experience with a milking system (automated).

Area of specialization

• The candidate should be knowledgeable about dairy cattle.

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must have their own transportation.
