Job Description

  • The candidate must accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payments.
  • The candidate must be able to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
  • The candidate must provide advice about merchandise.
  • The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
  • The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services desired for purchase, rental, or lease.
  • The candidate must maintain sales records for inventory control.

  • The candidate will be responsible for selling merchandise.
  • The candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must supervise retail salespersons and sales clerks.
  • The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • The candidate must be a quick learner.
  • The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
