Job Description

  • The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
  • The candidate must read blueprints to determine the work requirements.
  • The candidate must be capable of erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • The candidate will be responsible for mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • The candidate must remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have a Driver’s License (Class 3 or D) and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course Certification.
  • The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate must be flexible.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
  • The candidate must be hardworking.

Work site environment

  • The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Experience and specialization

Equipment and machinery experience

  • The candidate must have experience using reciprocating saws, circular saws, concrete saws, grinding machines, jackhammers, air compressors, air guns, nail guns, drills, chainsaws, sledgehammers, and hand tools.

Construction specialization

  • The candidate must specialize in residential construction.
