Job Description
- The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
- The candidate must measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting.
- The candidate must read blueprints to determine the work requirements.
- The candidate must be capable of erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
- The candidate will be responsible for mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
- The candidate must assist in pipe alignment during pipeline construction.
- The candidate will be responsible for assisting in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
- The candidate will be responsible for assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
- The candidate must level earth to fine grade specifications.
- The candidate must assist in the demolition of buildings.
- The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
- The candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance work.
- The candidate must remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
- The candidate will be responsible for tending to or feeding construction machines and equipment.
- The candidate will be responsible for directing traffic near construction sites.

- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- A candidate with experience is an asset.
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
