Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate will be required to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• The candidate must be able to mix, pour, and spread materials.
• The candidate will be expected to assist heavy equipment operators.
• The candidate will be expected to help with rock drilling and blasting on construction sites.
• The candidate will be expected to help with house framing, wall construction, and roof construction.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be client focused.
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate should be a good team player.

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work at heights.

Equipment and machinery experience

• The candidate must have prior experience with Bobcats, Moles, Concrete vibrators, Circular saws, Grinding machines, Chippers, Jackhammers, Air compressors, Air guns, Nail guns, Drills, Torches, Small front end loaders, Compactors, Sandblasters, and Sledgehammers.

Construction specialization

• The candidate must be skilled in the construction of driveways, industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential structures, as well as sidewalks and curbs.
