Job Description
- This is a B2B sales leadership position that is targeted towards business accounts (SMB = Small and Medium Business).
- The individual will be accountable for the acquisition and retention of wireless and wireline services for a designated territory.
- They are expected to develop revenue growth through prospecting and developing business relationships.
- They are the point of contact – and probably manage a total client relationship from start to finish.
- They are expected to articulate business strategy to client solutions, aligning the services provided by Bell to client needs.
- Due to the potential to be heavily sales-oriented, I would anticipate that there will be a target-setting and forecasting component to it.
Responsibilities
- Foster the growth, retention and acquisition of both wireless and wireline services to a defined territory.
- Build business plans to meet revenue targets and objectives.
- Create new sales opportunities by networking and reaching out.
- Must be observable and answerable to the customer.
- Responsible for operating the sales program from prospecting to closing.
- Partner with internal associates to reach sales objectives.
- Provide accurate forecasts and maintain appropriate sales administration.
Requirements
- Skilled in building business through research and networking.
- Can prioritize value selling vs. pricing.
- Has a strong customer service mentality.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- PowerPoint and Excel are advanced; telecom sales experience is also a plus.
- Mastering the area of consultative/solution-based selling styles; fluent in French and English for communication.
