Job Descriptions

  • The candidate will be expected to look after the emotional well-being of children.
  • The candidate will be required to take children to and from school and appointments.
  • The candidate will be required to supervise and care for children
  • The candidate will be responsible for sterilizing bottles, preparing formulas and changing diapers for infants.
  • The candidate would be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals
  • The candidate will be required to provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • The candidate will be required to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child.
  • The candidate would be responsible for instructing children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • The candidate will be expected to discipline children using the methods specified by the parents.
  • The candidate must bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
  • The candidate would be responsible for planning and supervising balanced routines that include physical activities, rest, and playtime.
  • The candidate will be required to help children with homework.
  • The candidate would be in charge of washing, ironing and pressing clothes and household linens.
  • The candidate will be required to travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision.
  • The candidate will be required to perform light housekeeping duties like cleaning and tidying the room or house, changing beds etc.
  • The candidate will be expected to go shopping for food and household supplies.
  • The candidate must be able to care for pets.
  • In the absence of the householder, the candidate would be able to assume full responsibility for the household.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • The candidate should have the minimum qualification of a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of working experience in a similar industry.
  • The candidate must have a First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
  • The candidate should have experience in handling children with intellectual disabilities.
  • The candidate should have experience in handling children with learning disabilities.
  • The candidate would be in charge of infants aged one year, toddlers, and preschoolers (1 to 3 years)
