Job description:

  • The candidate will be required to tend to emotional well-being of children.
  • The candidate will be required to work in day, evening and morning shifts.
  • The candidate will be required to take children to and from school.
  • The candidate will be required to take children to appointments.
  • The candidate will be required to supervise and care for children.
  • The candidate will be required to organize, activities such as games.
  • The candidate will be required to organize  outings for children.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • The candidate will be required to keep records of daily activities of the children.
  • The candidate will be required to keep records of health information of the  children.
  • The candidate will be required to instruct children in personal hygiene 
  • The candidate will be required to instruct children in social development.
  • The candidate will be required to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
  • The candidate will be required to bathe infants and children.
  • The candidate will be required to dress infants and children. 
  • The candidate will be required to feed infants and children.
  • The candidate will be required to help children with homework.
  • The candidate will be required to wash, iron and press clothing and household linens.
  • The candidate will be required to travel with family on trips.
  • The candidate will be required to assist with child supervision .
  • The candidate will be required to assist with housekeeping duties.
  • The candidate will be required to perform light housekeeping duties.
  • The candidate will be required to perform cleaning duties.
  • The candidate will be required to assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
  • The candidate will be required to tend to children of ages six to twelve years that is the school age.

Requirements:

  • The candidate should have a Secondary high school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • The candidate should know English.
  • The candidate should have an experience of at least one month to less than seven months.
  • The candidate should be able to work in work settings like optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment
  • The candidate should be able to work in the employer’s home.
  • The candidate should have a thorough Criminal record check.
  • It is not compulsory for the candidate to have their own transportation as public transportation will be available.
  • The candidate should be able to manage repetitive tasks.
  • The candidate should be required to work in non-smoking work environment.
