Job description

  • The candidate will be required to tend to emotional well-being of children.
  • The candidate will be required to take children to and from school and to appointments.
  • The candidate will be required to supervise and care for children.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • The candidate will be required to organize activities.
  • The candidate will be required to organize games.
  • The candidate will also be required to organize outings for children.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain a safe environment in the home.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain a healthy environment in the home.
  • The candidate will be required to keep records of daily activities of the children.
  • The candidate will be required to keep records of health information regarding children.
  • The candidate will be required to instruct children in personal hygiene.
  • The candidate will also be required to instruct children in social development.
  • The candidate will also be required to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
  • The candidate will also be required to assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
  • The candidate will be required to work in the employer’s or the client’s home.
  • Travel expenses of the candidate will be paid by employer.
  • Public transportation is available for the candidate’s use.
  • The Work Site Environment is Non-smoking.

Requirements

  • The candidate should have a Secondary high school graduation certificate.
  • The candidate will be required to have equivalent experience in the concerned field.
  • The candidate should also have an experience of at least 1 to less than 7 months.
  • The candidate should also have a First Aid Certificate.
  • The candidate should also be able to work in the employer’s home.
  • The candidate should also be able to work under pressure.
  • The candidate should also be able to manage repetitive tasks.
  • Overtime may be required from the candidate.
  • The candidate should also be able to handle heavy loads.
  • The candidate should also be initiative.
  • The candidate should also be excellent in oral communication.
