Job description
- The candidate will be required to tend to emotional well-being of children.
- The candidate will be required to instruct the children in personal hygiene.
- The candidate will be required to help the children social development.
- The candidate will be required to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
- The candidate will be required to bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
- The candidate will be required to supervise the children.
- The candidate will be required to care for the children.
- The candidate will be required to prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children.
- The candidate will be required to organize, activities such as games and outings for the children.
- The candidate will be required to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- The candidate will be required to prepare infants and children for rest periods.
- The candidate will be required to perform light housekeeping.
- The candidate will be required to perform cleaning duties.
- The candidate will be required to assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
- The candidate will be required to tend to children of age group toddler to pre-school, around 1 to 3 years old.
- The candidate will be required to work in the employer’s or the client’s home.
- Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Although, this is not a condition of employment.
- No smoking is allowed in the employer’s or the client’s home.
- The work setting is an urban area.
- Public transportation is available for the candidate to avail.
Requirements
- The candidate should have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- The candidate does not require experience for this job as the employer will train.
- The candidate should have a First Aid Certificate.
- The candidate should have a CPR Certificate.
- Reference from a trusted source will be required for the job.
- The candidate should be able to handle weight.
- The candidate should be dependable.
- The candidate should be comfortable with handling repetitive tasks.
- The candidate should have a thorough Criminal record check done.
- The candidate should show initiative.
- The candidate should show flexibility.
