Job Description
- Service Coordination Administrator supports facility services and administrative operations for Calgary Police Service.
- Full time permanent position with a 35 hour work week.
- The routine typically follows four days per week with 8.75 hours each day.
- The role includes front line support in a facility management setting.
- The work is based at the Calgary Police Service facility in Calgary.
Responsibilities
- Manage bookings and availability of shared boardrooms.
- Process booking forms and submit work order requests.
- Review security clearance declarations for authorized site access.
- Create and monitor IT service requests.
- Manage key requests, lockers and access records.
- Distribute General Entry keys to authorized personnel.
- Process building concerns through the maintenance request system.
- Maintain databases and prepare reports.
- Respond to front counter visitors and phone inquiries.
Requirements
- Complete a one year certificate in Business Administration, Administrative Assistant or a related field.
- Have at least 3 years of work background in work order dispatching or service coordination within facility management or a related setting.
- Work background in facilities or asset management is considered an asset.
- Be skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. This is considered an asset.
- Work background with a computerized maintenance management system such as AiM or a similar platform is considered an asset.
- Show emotional intelligence and support respectful and inclusive workplaces.
- Can build and maintain professional relationships and support others.
- Can work with changing priorities and focus on achieving results.
- Pass an enhanced security clearance.
- Provide proof of qualifications. Education completed outside Canada must have or be able to obtain an Education Credential Assessment.
