Job description

  • The candidate should be able to fit and install windows, doors and stairs.
  • The candidate should be able to fit and install mouldings and hardware.
  • The candidate should know how to use measuring tools.
  • The candidate should be able prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • The candidate should be able to read and interpret blueprints.
  • The candidate should be able to read and interpret drawings and sketches.
  • The candidate should be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
  • The candidate should be able to measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • The candidate should be able to build foundations.
  • The candidate should be able to install floor beams.
  • The candidate should be able to lay subflooring.
  • The candidate should be able to erect walls and roof systems.
  • The candidate should be able to maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.

  • The candidate does not require any degree, certificate or diploma for this job.
  • The candidate should have equivalent experience in the concerned field.
  • The candidate should have an experience of at least 2 year to less than 3 years.
  • The candidate should be able to handle weight.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
