Job description responsibilities

  • Receive reports from officers and external partners through phone systems
  • Process and review data to meet internal policies and reporting rules
  • Complete Criminal Code reports for database entry
  • Enter and manage records within police database systems
  • Process physical documents such as property lists and court orders
  • Respond to internal inquiries while maintaining privacy standards
  • Handle sensitive and confidential case information

Job requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent such as GED
  • At least 1 year of office work with focus on data entry
  • Typing speed of 50 WPM with strong spelling and proofreading
  • Familiarity with database systems such as SENTRY is an asset
  • Ability to handle sensitive and graphic material professionally
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage pressure
  • Must pass an enhanced security clearance check
  • Must provide proof of qualifications and obtain an Education Credential
