Job Description

• The candidate will be expected to study plans, specifications, or drawings of items to be manufactured, as well as to prepare specifications.
• The candidate will be expected to trim joints, fit parts and subassemblies together to form a complete unit, and reinforce joints.
• The candidate must sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, as well as prepare and apply laminated plastics.
• The candidate must apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
• The candidate must be able to operate woodworking machines and hand tools in order to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
• The candidate will be expected to repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English or French languages.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate should have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate should be a good team player.

• The candidate will be required to work in a furniture manufacturing company as well as an industrial setting.
