Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing Distribution Centre (DC) on-hand inventory forecast models across 1-year operational and 5-year long-range planning horizons.
- The candidate will be responsible for delivering monthly DC on-hand inventory forecast updates that reflect changes in sales/outbound, buy/inbound, and transfer plans while communicating key drivers to cross-functional partners.
- The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining forecast models that support North America e-commerce demand placement.
- The candidate will be responsible for leading inventory placement strategies on behalf of Merchandising and Planning teams to optimize inventory productivity across North America and support execution activities, including Purchase Order splits and redirects.
- The candidate will be responsible for collaborating across teams to identify fulfillment cost drivers, improve cost performance, and deliver KPI metrics to FP&A partners.
- The candidate will be responsible for supporting strategic initiatives through project discovery, planning activities, and successful execution.
- The candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing a comprehensive suite of reporting and analytics tools to track KPIs and conduct data-driven analysis to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
- The candidate will lead and develop a small team of analysts.
- The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with international S&OP teams to identify best practices and improve shared processes.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must have 10+ years of retail experience in a related function, including inventory management, retail or supply chain forecasting, merchandising, or distribution.
- The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in reporting and analytics using tools such as PowerBI, Excel, and SQL.
- The candidate must have proven experience managing and leading people.
- The candidate must hold a university degree in business, inventory management, supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
- The candidate must demonstrate proven excellence in identifying business insights and communicating findings to cross-functional partners and management.
- The candidate must have previous project management experience, which will be considered an advantage.
- The candidate must acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for their actions and decisions.
