Job Description

  • Business Advisor post helps the small business clients by offering them financial advice and helping them by managing their accounts.
  • Manage a portfolio of complex or high-value small business clients to retain and grow your client base.
  • Develop a strong presence in the local business community through relationships with Centres of Influence.
  • Communicate with new and existing clients to make sure that they have a total financial advice experience to assist in improving their business success.
  • Responding to clients needs, financial statements and constructions to recommend the appropriate products and services.
  • Coordinate with complementary advisors to ensure that a client-centered environment is created and shared.
  • Stay up to date with small business products, risk policies, legal documentation and competition in the marketplace.
  • Adapt to changing business needs in an organized and effective way.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of sophisticated, high-value small business clients in order to drive retention and growth.
  • Cultivate a strong presence in the local business community through relationships with clients that provide influence.
  • Actively reach out and support both new and existing clients by offering tailored financial advice to support their business.
  • Assess clients’ needs, financial statements, and business conditions to make appropriate recommendations.
  • Deliver exceptional service throughout the client journey and prioritize customer service mentality.
  • Partner with other advisors to ensure you have consistently for the integrated approach and single-client experience.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated business development skills and familiarity with small business legal types and life cycle.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to be flexible in a changing environment.
  • Strong relationship building, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Education in business or equivalent experience as a small business entrepreneur.
