Job Description

  • Branch Operations Manager supervising everyday activity, backing of administration, and branch processes all over wealth management.
  • A full-time job of 37.5 hours each week, situated at Toronto.
  • Oversee client account activities, make sure that compliance standards are met, and keep branch operations precise.
  • Communicate with internal departments, give support to Advisor teams, and conduct training on software, systems, and processes.
  • Manage branch facilities and equipment while playing a part in building a teamwork culture of collaboration, progress, and high performance.
  • Be part of the supporting environment that is concentrated on progression, innovation, and inclusive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Branch Director in realizing his vision and make sure the branch is running smoothly and effectively all the time.
  • Participate in training of new support staff and organize training sessions for the existing team members.
  • Perform the dual role of managing and supporting the sales support team within the branch.
  • Supervise the daily administrative activities, including but not limited to transaction approvals, documentation verification and account openings.
  • Monitor the compliance and internal control standards and make sure they are always met.
  • Manage and provide tech support in branch access, setup, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Complete Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
  • Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH).
  • Ability to work on oneโ€™s own and find solutions in a preventive manner.
  • Familiarity with the systems and procedures of Royal Bank of Canada Dominion Securities.
  • Very detail-oriented and, at the same time, with top-notch time management skills.
  • Professional characteristic that helps to maintain a good atmosphere in the workplace.
  • Prior work in the securities field.
