Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for arranging the bar area to make attractive displays.
  • The candidate will be responsible for cleaning the bar area and washing glassware.
  • The candidate must serve food or snacks.
  • The candidate must provide recommendations for drink selections.
  • The candidate must collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other forms of payment for beverages.
  • The candidate must be able to operate a cash register.
  • The candidate must operate video lottery terminals.
  • The candidate must store beverages and food products.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ordering bar stock, maintaining inventory, and controlling bar stock.
  • The candidate must respond to customer complaints or concerns.
  • The candidate will be responsible for enforcing provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations.
  • The candidate must prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • The candidate must take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from customers.
  • The candidate must be able to handle conflict situations.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English or French.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
  • The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
  • The candidate must have a Responsible Beverage Service Certificate.

Work setting

  • The candidate must be willing to work in an adult entertainment establishment, lounge, or nightclub.
