Job Description

  • The candidate must inspect motors in operation.
  • The candidate must conduct road tests on motor vehicles.
  • The candidate must test automotive systems and components.
  • The candidate must advise customers on work performed and the condition of equipment.
  • The candidate must adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
  • The candidate must test motor vehicle electrical assemblies, equipment, and wiring for proper performance.
  • The candidate must test and adjust parts.
  • The candidate must test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance.
  • The candidate must review work orders to determine job specifications.
  • The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance and service.
  • The candidate must diagnose faults using testing devices.
  • The candidate must complete inspection and test reports.
  • The candidate must check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • The candidate should be client-focused.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate must be punctual.

  • The candidate must work in an environment focused on inspection tasks.
