Job description
- Will be required to purchase machinery, livestock, seed, feed and other supplies.
- Will be required to perform general farm duties.
- Will be required to manage the overall operation of the farm.
- Will be required to maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings.
- Will be required to maintain financial and production records.
- Will be required to organize and co-ordinate planting, cultivating and crop harvesting activities.
- Will be required to look after raising and breeding of livestock and poultry.
- Will be required to determine the amount and kinds of crops to be grown.
- Will be required to determine the amount and kinds of livestock to be raised.
Requirements
- College/CEGEP degree or equivalent experience is required to apply for this position.
- Prior experience of 1 year to less than 2 years is required to apply for this position.
- Should be able to handle tractors.
- Should be able to work with sprayer.
- Should be able to work with duster.
- Should be able to work with loaders.
- Should be able to work with biogas.
- Should have knowledge about automated irrigation systems.
- Should be able to work with automated irrigation systems.
- Should have knowledge about feeding and watering systems.
- Should be able to work with feeding and watering systems.
- Should have experience working with mushrooms.
- Should be able to supervise staff in various areas of responsibility.
- Should have good hand-eye coordination.
