Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for advising clients on beauty treatments.
  • The applicant must analyze the condition of hair and scalp.
  • The candidate must book appointments.
  • The candidate must cut and trim hair according to the client’s instructions or preferences.
  • The candidate must provide customized hair and scalp treatment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for shampooing customers’ hair.
  • The candidate must shave and trim mustaches and beards.
  • The candidate will be responsible for providing additional hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting, as well as scalp conditioning massages.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising other hair stylists and staff.
  • The candidate must colour, frost, or streak hair using bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses.
  • The candidate must apply hair extensions.
  • The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and styling wigs and hair pieces.
  • The candidate must cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair.
  • The candidate must advise clients on hair color, hairstyles, makeup, clothing, and accessories.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in French language.
  • The candidate must have College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have Barbering Trade Certification and Hairstyling Trade Certification.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
