Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for installing electrical control and panel boxes.
- The candidate must maintain professionalism in customer service.
- The candidate must keep maintenance reports and documentation.
- The candidate must design and build single-phase services for single or multimeter installations.
- The candidate must splice, join, and connect wires.
- The candidate must design and build low-voltage (30 to 750V) multiphase services for single or multimeter installations.
- The candidate must test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and circuit integrity.
- The candidate must determine the appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations.
- The candidate must troubleshoot and isolate faults.
- The candidate must connect power to audio and visual equipment.
- The candidate must install surface-mount and/or overhead cables.
- The candidate will be responsible for instructing apprentices.
- The candidate must install power generation, backup power generation, and power conditioning systems.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising other workers.
- The candidate must ground and bond electrical equipment, systems, and structures such as swimming pools and hot tubs.
- The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
- The candidate must renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- The candidate must carry out preventive maintenance programs.
- The candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
- The candidate must commission systems and components.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
