Job Description

  • The candidate will be in charge of monitoring animal health.
  • The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
  • The candidate should be knowledgeable about apiary work.
  • The candidate must detect disease and health issues in crops, livestock, and poultry.
  • The candidate will be expected to write basic progress reports on a daily basis.
  • The candidate must have supervisory experience.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

  • The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Experience and specialization

Apiary and honey harvesting experience

  • The candidate must be knowledgeable about apiary management.
  • The candidate must have prior experience in bee disease detection and treatment, as well as honey harvesting.
  • The candidate must be knowledgeable about honey bees, honey farming, and bee biology.

Equipment and machinery experience

  • The candidate must have prior experience with a farm truck and a forklift.
