Job description
- All candidates will provide services and infrastructure that Yukoners need to go about their daily lives with safety, connectivity, and purpose.
- They have to maintain the infrastructure, systems and programs that are critical to a healthy and vibrant Yukon.
- All candidates will also demonstrate pride in providing excellent customer service as well as the ability to remain professional and tactful in challenging situations.
- They are responsible for maintenance and transport services branches ensure a safe and effective transportation network that connects Yukon to the world and supports economic growth and a healthy society within the territory.
- They are also responsible for airport activity surveillance and carrying out safety/security procedures to ensure the safety/security of airport users and personnel.
Job requirement
- All candidates must have valid Transportation Security Clearance upon hire.
- They also must have experience and/or training in responding to emergency situations.
- Candidates are also requested to have experience providing safety and security services in the Aviation industry would be an asset.
- They also must have well-developed interpersonal skills involving professional interactions with the public and industry stakeholders.
