Job description
- Candidates will lead the implementation and execution of Indigenous strategies, initiatives and programs to recruit, select, retain and develop Indigenous employees and ensure employment equity targets and goals are achieved.
- They will champion and advocate for Indigenous employment equity at the national level.
- They will communicate and influence internal stakeholders to prioritise and actively support Indigenous strategies, initiatives and programs.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have the ability to establish, build and strengthen genuine partnerships with Indigenous communities, allied organisations and networks that are founded in trust and respect.
- They should possess the capability to work in alignment with Indigenous organisations, stakeholders, partners and programs that promote and guide Indigenous candidates for employment opportunities.
Work setting
- They have to lead and champion equity census campaigns, events and reporting. Monitors and evaluates program outcomes. Recommends solutions to support continuous improvement.
