Job description
- Candidates will take on the responsibility of implementing and executing strategies, initiatives, and programs focused on recruiting, selecting, retaining, and developing Indigenous employees, with a commitment to achieving employment equity targets and objectives.
- At the national level, they will be strong advocates for Indigenous employment equity, actively promoting it.
- They will engage with internal stakeholders, influencing them to prioritize and actively support Indigenous strategies, initiatives, and programs.
Job requirement
- Candidates should demonstrate their ability to establish, build, and fortify genuine partnerships with Indigenous communities, allied organizations, and networks rooted in trust and respect.
- They are expected to work collaboratively with Indigenous organizations, stakeholders, partners, and programs that facilitate and guide Indigenous candidates toward employment opportunities.
Work setting
- They will be responsible for leading and championing equity census campaigns, events, and reporting. Additionally, they will be tasked with monitoring and evaluating program outcomes, while also providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
