Job Description

  • This position of ACH Operations Implementation Lead involves overseeing and leading the processes utilized to implement and deliver ACH and other forms of payment to RBC’s clients.
  • Support the operational and technical aspects of client implementations through system config, integration, testing, and training for their accounts.
  • Serve as project manager on efforts to integrate clients to the bank- creating project plans, coordinating areas across functional groups, and driving all work to completion.
  • It will involve conducting the various functions related to ACH operations including monitoring exposure limits, handling investigations (i.e., reversals/recalls/trace requests) and communicating between the Credit Risk and Client Oversight teams.
  • Act as the main technical interface for clients: walking them through the creation of the RBC Clear product (portal configuration, H2H connection, and file specification).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee ACH Originators’ Limits of Exposure as a liaison between our Client and Credit Risk Groups.
  • Provide ACH Investigative support including but not limited to requests from clients for record of authorization, ACH recalls, ACH reverses, and trace requests
  • Work directly with Clients to assist them in resolving Issues; obtain customer needs and work with Product Team and Account Managers to assist them in satisfying those needs.
  • Provide all daily tasks required to implement systems including system configuration, problem resolution, solution research, business analysis, client training, and troubleshooting within established SLAs.
  • Provide a technical walkthrough of the RBC Clear product line including portal configurations, H2H interconnections, and payment and statement file specifications.
  • Act as Project Manager for RBC to develop the client integration project management plan and execute it through to completion.
  • Act as the main technical focal point for managing client-to-client technical conversations when onboarding new products or responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), or providing technical training.
  • Assist with client Host-to-Host testing for all products via the H2H channel.

Requirements

  • Five to seven years of experience in an ACH Operations role, showing proof of completed technical implementations at a financial institution with successful digital integration.
  • Experience managing the implementation of Cash Management/Treasury Products via Host-To-Host/API solutions (file formats/connective protocols such as SWIFT FileAct and SFTP).
  • Experience implementing Account Statement Formats (MT/CAMT/BAI2) via both SWIFT and via Host-To-Host delivery channels.
  • Strong knowledge of Cash Management Products (ACH/RTP/Check).
  • Ability to review Technical Integration Documents and effectively communicate with the client’s technical team.
