Job Description
- Applicants working at this post are required to completes routine plant inspections of the ammonia-refrigeration, boilers and compressors and ensure that all systems are operating in a safe and expected manner.
- They’re appointed at this post to Interface with necessary contractual and inspection departments for corrective or legal requirements, including setup of work with 3rd party contractors.
- Candidates working at this post are also required to carry out work requests and apply corrective measures in a timely manner utilizing the computerized maintenance system working at this post.
- They’re appointed at this post to follow all Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, WHMIS and MSDS policies or procedures working at this post.
- Candidates at this post are also required to provide direction to the Power House team and ensure that appropriate shift coverage is maintained.
Job requirement
- They must acquire a dedicated valid certificate of qualification as a 2nd Class Operating Engineer to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates who have valid 3rd class certification obtaining their 2nd class certification to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attains the ability to work well in a team environment, prior strong communication and interpersonal skills to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates at this post must have dedicated experience in a food processing environment to get preferred for this post.
- They must be proficient in Microsoft office applications & experience with computerized maintenance management systems to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates at this post must have prior experience with root cause analysis & continuous improvement programs such as 6Sigma to get preferred for this post.
