Job Description

  • The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
  • The candidate must be able to use manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment.
  • The candidate must be able to operate either manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
  • The candidate will be required to operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • The candidate must determine the weldability of materials.
  • The candidate will be responsible for starting, shutting down, adjusting, and monitoring the robotic welding production line.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work site environment

  • The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
  • The candidate must be able to work in hot conditions.
  • The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work setting

  • The candidate will be required to work in various locations.
  • The candidate will be required to work in both institutional and manufacturing settings.

Experience and specialization

Type of materials

  • Materials include aluminium alloys, copper and copper alloys, magnesium alloys, stainless steel, steel, iron, and heavy metals, and titanium and special alloys.

Welding techniques

  • Welding techniques include resistance, spot or seam, spray, welding plastic, brazing and soldering, and laser.

Equipment and machinery experience 

  • The candidate must have prior experience with an arc welding machine, a gas welding machine and a soldering machine.

Area of specialization

  • The candidate must be skilled in auto repair, truck repair, machinery or equipment repair, and structural construction.

  • The candidate must have their own transportation.

  • The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.
