Job Description

  • The candidate must build pallets.
  • The candidate will be required to load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • The candidate will be expected to load, unload, and move materials and products using a variety of equipment.
  • The candidate must ship orders.
  • The candidate will be responsible for picking orders and stocking shelves.
  • The candidate must weigh materials and goods.
  • The candidate must create labels and attach them to goods.
  • The candidate must wrap goods.
  • The candidate must pack and unpack goods.
  • The candidate must sort, crate, and stack goods.
  • The candidate must install, lash, and secure goods.
  • The candidate will be responsible for storing cargo and materials.
  • The candidate must transport and distribute materials and goods.
  • The candidate will be expected to organise and keep inventory.
  • The candidate must be able to use computerised inventory control systems.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have completed Counterbalanced forklift training, Narrow aisle forklift training, and Working at Heights training, as well as Forklift Operator Certification.
  • The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • The candidate must be adaptable.

Vehicle and equipment experience

  • The candidate must have prior experience with reach trucks, radio frequency scanners (RFS), industrial lift trucks and forklifts, and pallet lifters.
