Job Description

  • The candidate must be capable of loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • The candidate must operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • The candidate must ship orders.
  • The candidate will be responsible for picking orders and stock.
  • The candidate must create labels and attach them to goods.
  • The candidate must wrap goods.
  • The candidate must pack and unpack goods.
  • The candidate must sort, crate, and stack goods.
  • The candidate will be responsible for storing cargo and materials.
  • The candidate must organize and keep inventory.
  • The candidate must organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems.
  • The candidate will be responsible for handling and storing hazardous products.
  • The candidate must be familiar with Microsoft Office.

  • The candidate should work in the manufacturing sector, creating new products from raw materials or assembling various components using physical, chemical, or mechanical methods.
  • The candidate should work in a retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre handling products from manufacturers or wholesalers, organizing them, and shipping them to their final destinations as quickly as possible.
  • The candidate should work in a retail business, purchase goods from a manufacturer or a wholesaler and sell these goods to consumers in small quantities.

Experience and specialization

Computer and technology knowledge

  • The candidate must be knowledgeable about MS Excel and MS Word.

Vehicle and equipment experience

  • The candidate must have experience using various types of trucks, including dollies, hand trucks, light trucks, reach trucks, industrial lift trucks, forklifts, and pallet lifters.

Area of specialization

  • The candidate must be knowledgeable about shipping and receiving.
