Job Description

  • The candidate will direct and oversee all aspects of an assigned shift or process within a DC department.
  • The candidate will support the manager in developing and implementing departmental operating and strategic plans to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • The candidate will be responsible for coaching and developing up to 25 hourly lululemon team members, including Floor Leads, Warehouse Associates, Forklift Drivers, and Data Administrators.
  • The candidate will ensure all areas of the hourly employee life cycle are effectively managed, including hiring, training, performance management, rewards and recognition, and offboarding.
  • The candidate will oversee the execution of departmental work tasks to ensure target metrics and SLAs are achieved.
  • The candidate will be responsible for daily labor planning, including reallocating employees to departments where labor support is required.
  • The candidate will support the Manager with weekly workforce planning, including requesting labor support from agency partners and Talent Acquisition teams.
  • The candidate must work closely with DC Workforce Administrators to verify and approve timekeeping records for hourly direct reports, including attendance tracking.
  • The candidate will be responsible for communicating with agency vendors regarding employee performance, staffing needs, and feedback.
  • The selected candidate will work closely with Health and Safety and P and C departments on employee-related matters.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining effective communication flow with the hourly workforce.
  • The candidate will ensure departmental compliance with Labor Laws and Health and Safety regulations.
  • The candidate must support and lead initiatives aligned with lululemon’s IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Action) values and principles.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in engineering, supply chain, logistics, operations, or possess relevant on-the-job experience.
  • The candidate must have 3 to 5 years of experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience directly or indirectly leading a team of hourly employees.
  • The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • The candidate should have experience with automation, material handling equipment (MHE), and labor management systems.
  • The candidate must be able to obtain a powered industrial truck (PIT) operator certification based on business needs.
  • The candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with team members and business partners.
  • The candidate must be capable of adapting to third-party technologies including RF scanners, voice picking systems, and new technologies.
  • The candidate must maintain a safe work environment at all times.
  • The candidate must acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for their actions and decisions.
  • The candidate must possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously seek innovative ways to achieve strong results.
