Job Description

• The candidate must be capable of loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
• The candidate must operate various equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
• The candidate will be responsible for picking orders and stock.
• The candidate must wrap goods.
• The candidate must install, lash, and secure goods.
• The candidate must organize and keep inventory.
• The candidate must maintain an inventory of stored material.
• The candidate must follow emergency and safety procedures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• Fluency in Punjabi is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work setting

• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be noisy and busy with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, packers, and forklift truck drivers moving pallets between shelves.

• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate should be prepared to perform physically demanding tasks in their daily work.
