Costco Wholesale is inviting all the candidates to show their interest in this post of Tire Center sales assistant. They’re looking for candidates who can fulfil all the requirements of the post. Working at this post they’re required to assist members with purchasing tires. They’re also required to maintain stock, tag, and organize all tyres on the sales floor. Job Description
- Candidates for this post are appointed to assist members in determining tire needs, answering questions and making product recommendations.
- They’re also appointed to sell tires using persuasive skills and product knowledge.
- Candidates for this post are required to handle the phone line including answering all incoming calls, handling all member’s inquiries and providing price quotes.
- Candidates are appointed to maintain tags and organize all special orders and CA tires for efficiency.
- Candidates are appointed to provide members with booked appointments for special orders at the time of purchase.
- They’re also appointed to invoice tire purchase, install/repair services and load appointment tires and transfers to preset staging areas in sales.
- They’re required to stock tires in the sales area by the Tire Centre manager’s merchandising plan.
- They’re also appointed to keep tires in steel stocked by the Tire Manager’s merchandising plan.
- Candidates are appointed to assist with driving member vehicles into the service bay and parking member vehicles in the lot after service.
- They’re also appointed to assist in Station Operations of the shop as required.
- Candidates are required to clean the sales area by sweeping, mopping, spraying, and wiping.
- They’re required to work in an efficient urgent manner throughout the day working at this post.
Job requirement
- They must have acquired a high school diploma or GED to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and must pass the Costco Tire certification test to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must pass Costco propane certification within 30 days to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates with previous tire installation/tire sales experience are preferred for this post.
