Job Description 

• Candidates working at this post are required to fill and replenish supplies in resident rooms, nursing units, and restrooms at this post. 
• They’re also required to clean trash receptacles and place trash in the compactor or trash pickup area working at this post. 
• Candidates at this post are also required to sort laundry into appropriate piles based on the type of laundry at this post. 
• Candidates for this post are also required to operate washing machines using proper washing formulas.
• They’re appointed at this post to sort clean laundry into appropriate baskets or racks working at this post. 
• Candidates working at this post are also required to pick up soiled laundry and deliver clean laundry to resident areas within the facility using laundry carts working at this post. 
• They’re also required at this post to check laundry for tears, holes, missing buttons, etc. and forward clothing needing repair to the seamstress.

Job requirement 

• They must have high school/ GED completion to be eligible for this post. 
• Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial housekeeping or laundry to be preferred for this post. 
• They must attain the ability to provide a clear criminal record check upon hire to be eligible for this post. 
• Candidates must attain the ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment to be eligible for this post. 
• They must acquire the prior ability to work a schedule of flexible hours/ shifts inclusive of days, weekends and holidays to be eligible for this post.
